About the JFD C.A.R.E.S. Foundation

Our History

Established in 2023, the JFD C.A.R.E.S. Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization that provides support for existing and future Joliet Fire Department community-oriented and health and human services programs: Heartsafe Joliet, Community Paramedicine, Community Mental Health, Community Risk Reduction, Community Care, Youth Education Programs, Citizens Fire Academy, and Suicide Prevention. Through these programs, we provide Joliet residents with community assistance, resilience, education, and support.

Our Mission

It is the mission of the JFD C.A.R.E.S. Foundation to provide additional sustainable funding for community outreach and education programs offered by the Joliet Fire Department. All proceeds go to JFD program needs.
